ACA since 1948

Apostolic Christian Assembly dates back to 1948, when Ps. G Sundaram and Mrs. Beatrice  Sundaram planted a seed: a humble, at-home Bible study. Fast forward 70 years, and that kernel of faith has grown to become the Apostolic Christian Assembly. ACA now encompasses thousands of members and several churches in Fellowship. Here’s the story:

1940s to 1960s:

When the ——- house at ——-  became too small, the group moved to a small building on Bricklin road. Receiving its name from the Lord, Apostolic Christian Assembly  was started in 1948 at ———

Organized to serve the community, the small church became a staple in Purasawalkam. Ps G Sundaram being the founder along with other members and Pastors (names) …… continued the Lords service. These men paved the way and led the church during its intial years.

By 19—, the church had — members and was growing.With a growing congregation, ACA’s small facility was not sufficient. The new church at ( Location) could accommodate 1200-2000 people and it opened Mon. 10, 19—.

1960s to 1980s:

Pastor M K Sam Sundaram’s first Sunday sermon was in Mon 19— and he was became the Child Pastor on May 26, 1989 after the Lord called Ps Sundaram home. Membership grew from 2000 to thousands. ACA purchased an old building on (address) that became the ACA Ministry Center.

1980s to 2000s:

Worship services and special events are viewed online in more than 20 countries. With dozens of classes through its Bible Institutes, ministry programs ACA provides spiritual growth and develops “dynamic disciples.” May the Lord continue to favor this house as we move forward in His glory!
